The Mobility Resource™ recognizes that purchasing an adaptive vehicle with specialized adaptive equipment can be expensive, depending on what you need. That’s why General Motors is committed to helping people with disabilities equip their vehicles for safer, easier travel.
Through the GM Mobility Reimbursement Program, new vehicle purchasers/lessors who install or reinstall eligible adaptive mobility equipment on their new General Motors vehicles can receive a combination of financial assistance and the protection and convenience of OnStar1. Participating GM divisions include Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Hummer, Pontiac, Saturn and Saab.

- Up to $1,0002 reimbursement of the cost of any eligible adaptive equipment, such as lowered floor van adaptations, hand controls, scooter lifts, turning automotive seats, wheelchair lifts, when installed (or reinstalled) on any eligible purchased or leased new vehicle manufactured by GM.
- PLUS two extra years of the OnStar® safety and security service at no additional cost on all eligible GM vehicles equipped with OnStar. (Offer excludes reimbursement for safety belt extenders.) That’s a retail value of about $400 or more, depending on level of vehicle’s standard OnStar service.
