Grants for Wheelchair Accessible Vans in Nebraska

Financial Resources for Funding a Handicap Van in Nebraska

For aging and disabled residents of Nebraska, grants are available from a variety of sources to finance — in part or in its entirety — a wheelchair van. Maybe you’re looking to lease or purchase a new or used handicap van; or, maybe you want to install modifications like a wheelchair ramp, a scooter lift or adaptive driving hand controls to make a van more accommodating to your limited mobility.

Whatever the situation, many Nebraska agencies, organizations and foundations are standing by to offer monetary aid or to help you find disability grants for which you might be eligible. Here at The Mobility Resource, we’ve done the preliminary research for you. Browse the resources below and contact the ones that are applicable to you.

We’d also like to remind you that disability-specific groups are an excellent source of grants and other services and support. Find local Nebraska chapters and inquire within.
