Grants for Wheelchair Accessible Vans in Nevada

Financial Resources for Funding a Handicap Van in Nevada

Perhaps you’re in the market for a new or used wheelchair van. Or, perhaps you’ve been researching your options regarding accessibility equipment and conversions. As you’ve no doubt found, there are a lot, from different styles of ramps and lifts to turning automotive seating systems to hand controls for adaptive driving. Whether you hope to buy, lease or just install modifications, you probably found this page because you’re worried about how you’re going to afford it.

Finding this page was a good start. Here at the Mobility Resource, we went into discovery mode and found the following agencies and organizations that help residents in their quest for the perfect handicap van. Some of them award Nevada disability grants, while others are useful for their ability to direct you toward the best sources of financial aid. They can even tip you off to potential funding assistance you probably wouldn’t encounter on your own.

In addition, talk to people at Nevada-based chapters of associations and charitable groups that deal specifically with your type of disability. They’ll often provide disability grants of varying amounts to individuals in need, and they can also inform you about other options.
